Working at the supermarket in a German town, two loners – one with a criminal past and the other a victim of an abusive marriage are drawn towards each other, but the past and the present keep on interfering. This working-class film, set mostly inside a supermarket amongst cranes and shelves laden with goods is a tender, yet disturbing film ably directed by Thomas Stuber.
