It is way beyond me to describe Bresson or his films and the experience of watching them with adjectives. Watch Au Hasard Balthazar and feel for yourself. As Godard said about Robert Bresson the great cinema auteur," What Dostoevesky is to literature, Mozart is to music, Bresson is to cinema." He also said about Balthazar, "Everyone who sees this film will be absolutely astonished [...] because this film is really the world in an hour and a half."
